Family Quiz Playground is a free educational quiz site made for the whole family — kids, parents, and grandparents alike. There's no sign-up and nothing to install: just open it in your browser and play.
The English site has over 5,000 questions across Animals, Plants, World & Facts, Brain Teasers, World History, Words & Language, Numbers & Logic, and Science. There are photo quizzes where you name the dog breed from a picture, twenty-questions rounds where you open one hint at a time, history quizzes built on real photographs, and quick-fire math that's different every time. You don't have to play them as quizzes, either — you can read every answer and explanation as text in the study notes.
Every question and explanation is written by hand from publicly known facts, and checked before it goes up. Photos and illustrations come only from freely licensed sources such as Wikimedia Commons, and every author and license is credited in full on the Credits & Licenses page. Because children use this site, we never use violent or disturbing images.
This site started in Korean and has over 7,000 questions there, including Korean history, the Korean language, and a "generations" category about what life was like when parents were young. You can visit the Korean site — it's called 가족 퀴즈 놀이터 (Gajok Quiz Nolteo), which means "Family Quiz Playground".
The service does not collect any personal information. Your quiz history is stored only on your own device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
